Context

Washello is an eco-friendly mobile car wash company based in London. Their moped valets bring showroom shine directly to your car – it’s cheaper, more convenient and less wasteful than traditional car washes. With secure payment and a 100% money-back guarantee Washello is the easiest, most convenient way to have your car washed.

The Task

There was a problem with the logo and the overall branding that looked old and heavy. The client was using a self-built Shopify website and wanted to upgrade their brand presence. The client also wanted a custom calendar and map integration that would control the bookings since the business only operated in specific areas in London. Previously, they had to manually call back and cancel bookings made outside of these areas. The services were not listed clear enough and if a client was ordering a valet he wouldn't be able to add an extra top-up in the same order.

For the logo redesign, I've decided to keep some of the logo elements to allow a smooth transition to the new branding. The new logo is friendlier, less photoshop-effects heavy and looking up to date.

Colours

Using blue as the main colour I've freshened up the colour palette adding a few new active colours and brightening up the whole look and feel of the brand.

The Final Website

The last stage of my work was to put together all the atoms and molecules designed in the UI kit and convert them into a meaningful and seamless web experience. The platform chosen was WordPress enhanced with a visual builder theme that was completely customised to match the goal of this project.
